A few months ago, we announced the arrival of an impressive FPY 110, notably when we tested the Power 80 (MW208). You can forget about it already: before even touching the water, Fountaine Pajot’s future giant has grown and become the sailing FPY 120S and the power FPY 120.

At 116'6" (35.5 m) long and 48'7" (14.8 m) wide, this new flagship clearly takes the builder into the world of superyachts: 490 GT, no less than 6,598 sq ft (613 m²) of living space and accommodation for up to 12 guests accompanied by 8 crew members. The main saloon covers 1,098 sq ft (102 m²), the aft cockpit 1,539 sq ft (143 m²) and the beach club 775 sq ft (72 m²). The Owner’s suite alone boasts 829 sq ft (77 m²).
The sailing FPY 120S carries 7,072 sq ft (657 m²) of upwind sail area and is fitted with twin 900 hp engines as standard, while the FPY 120 logically does away with the rig and sails in favor of twin 1,300 hp engines - or even 2,000 hp units as an option - and carries 3,699 US gal (14,000 l) of fuel for a claimed range of up to 3,000 miles. In both cases, customization will be taken very far, with each yacht developed with its Owner on a semi-custom basis.
