After Cannes, it’s time to head for the Atlantic - and under bright sunshine! The Grand Pavois opened its doors on September 22 at the Port des Minimes and, once again, multihulls occupy a prime position on the La Rochelle pontoons. Their presence is now far from anecdotal: as early as 2025, the organizers completely redesigned the marina to accommodate around forty multihulls and devote more space to them.

For the 2026 edition, the lineup above all provides a broad overview of the market. On the sailing side, the major French builders are naturally on home territory, including Bali, Neel and Fountaine Pajot, which is notably presenting its FP41, FP44 and the brand-new FP48, fresh from its world premiere in Cannes. Lagoon is displaying its 38 and 43, while Excess is presenting its complete range. Aventura is also present with its iconic sailing 37.
But one of the attractions of the Grand Pavois is also the opportunity to move down in size and discover multihulls that are sometimes less visible at the major Mediterranean shows. Tricat has brought three trimarans, the 6.90, 8.50 and 30 (Antoine Houdet’s boat). A year after its world premiere, the Astus 26.5 is still part of the show, while the pontoons also host more unusual offerings such as the Fargo 31 powercat and the Outre-Loire 25 foiler. As for the WildKat 6.10, the small trailerable catamaran we feature elsewhere, it perfectly illustrates this diversity.
Also worth noting: two historic “Golden Oldies” trimarans are also moored at the pontoons.
Electric and hybrid solutions are gaining ground: Sea Loop is notably using the show to present the latest developments for its forthcoming Loopia 290, now available with hybrid propulsion combining twin 115 hp Mercury outboards with two 11 kW BlueNav electric motors.
