For several years now, the PBIBS has been a fixture on the international boat show scene; more and more builders, like Sunreef Yachts and Iliad Catamarans, have made it a regular event.

This is also the case for Camper & Nicholson – the leader in the world of luxury yachting, which, for example, markets the impressive CLC 115 that we featured in MM234. Today, the PBIBS generates $1.34 billion in economic impact – only 27.6% less than the MIBS, even though Palm Beach is currently largely ignoring sailboats. MIBS organizers might be concerned… except that they're the same organizers as PBIBS – and this is also the case for two other major Florida boat shows, the St. Pete Boat Show and the FLIBS in Fort Lauderdale.
