For several years now, the PBIBS has been a fixture on the international boat show scene; more and more builders, like Sunreef Yachts, have made it a regular event.
This is also the case for Camper & Nicholson – the leader in the world of luxury yachting, which, for example, markets the impressive CLC 115 that we featured in MM234, as well the builder Iliad Catamarans. Today, the PBIBS generates $1.34 billion in economic impact – only 27.6% less than the MIBS, even though Palm Beach is currently largely ignoring sailboats. MIBS organizers might be concerned… except that they're the same organizers as PBIBS – and this is also the case for two other major Florida boat shows, the St. Pete Boat Show and the FLIBS in Fort Lauderdale.
