Developed in collaboration with the naval architects at LOMOcean and interior designer Kurt Wallaeys, the TS40 features a trimaran configuration with the outer hulls set aft, in a similar way to those seen on the Leen, but with far more ambitious performance goals, as the target cruising speed is 20 knots.
Noteworthy features include the very deep forefoot of the central hull and the superstructure design inspired by workboats. The TS40’s drivetrain combines electric pods in the central hull with internal combustion engines located in the floats to eliminate noise and vibrations. The builder claims a range exceeding 3,000 nautical miles, allowing for ocean passage-making.
Beyond its performance, the TS40 prioritizes comfort. The interior layout has been designed for extended stays on board. Accommodation includes several guest cabins, crew quarters, and a spacious owner’s suite.
Options such as a helipad reinforce the TS40’s positioning as a new-generation exploration yacht, combining luxury and performance.
