Day 32 - Éric Pilato Completes His Solo Atlantic Crossing… in Les Saintes!
After more than 30 days at sea, Éric Pilato has reached Guadeloupe aboard his Excess 11, Skiboo 2, completing a nonstop solo Atlantic crossing. The figures speak for themselves: 4,515 nautical miles covered at an average speed of 5.8 knots! However, the 62-year-old sailor from La Rochelle had to abandon his final objective: reaching the Route du Rhum finish line without using his engines.
