New races

In the spring of 2019, this legendary race will be returning to the calendar, and is open to the Ultims, who have already marked it in their diaries. Raced fully crewed, Lorient- Bermuda-Lorient is also going to open up to other classes which request it. And here we started dreaming of a class made up solely of racing multihulls from the 80s. Imagine having VSD, the winner of the first edition in 1979, at the start, among Macif, Sodebo and Idec…

And as good things never come alone, another essential event from the 80s is also rising from the ashes: the ‘Trophée des Multicoques’. Created originally in 1980, the new version of the Trophee will be held in the Morbihan from 28^th to 31^st August 2018. The idea is (as it was in the past) to bring together the cream of the multihull ocean racing world, two months before the start of the Route du Rhum.

The new Trophee des Multicoques 2018 will be sailing the waters between Lorient and Vannes, passing via Quiberon, La Trinite sur Mer, the Golfe du Morbihan…alternating long races for the biggest multihulls, and inshore courses for the smallest.
